Will my replacement diamond look different than the others?

All replacement diamonds are selected by a GIA Graduate Gemologist to make sure they match! When The Ring Doctors replace a missing stone, your ring will look new!

Why did a diamond fall out of my ring?

Diamonds may come loose over time as a ring wears, changes shape, or is damaged. As settings (prongs, channels, bezels, etc) wear down, stones may become loose and eventually fall out.

Is it possible to replace gemstones other than diamonds?

Yes! We can replace sapphires, emeralds, rubies, aquamarines, opals, etc. If your ring originally had a diamond or other gemstone, we will find the right stone that matches in color, cut, and quality.

What happens to the original stone if it was sentimental or rare?

We know their importance to some folks! If your original was rare, antique or had great sentimental value, we will help you find a quality replacement or reuse other heirloom stones in your new design. Your memory will live on in a ring you will want to wear again.

Will you check the other stones in my ring?

Absolutely! When we replace a diamond or gemstone, we perform a complete inspection of the entire setting, including prongs and mountings, to limit any further loss of stones. Rest assured, we will recommend any repairs you need to reinforce the security and longevity of the ring.

Can you replace a missing center stone?
