As the owner of Lee Read Jewelers in Meridian Idaho, I am often asked how Covid has affected business. Frankly, after being forced to close for the entire month of April we had no idea what would happen when we reopened. With a protocol of Covid 19 precautions in place and plenty of room in the store to social distance we opened the door.

Relationships Matter Most

The very first day we noticed personal relationships mean more to people now than ever before. We have fewer people coming in, but our business has grown because you just can’t keep Love down. Love will always find a way and we work hard to be part of the solution.

Social Distancing? No Problem!

Twenty years ago, we closed our 3 existing mall stores and opened the 10,000 square foot Lee Read Diamond Dream Store. Little did we know then how important it would be to have all this space to help people properly social distance from one another in 2020. We have over a dozen sales areas that are individually spaced to give our Guests the social distancing they need. We thoroughly clean every piece of jewelry after we show it so it’s in pristine condition for our next Guest to admire.

Easy Parking/Curbside pickup, No Problem!

The Lee Read Diamond Dream Store was built on the premise our Guests wanted to park right at our front door and not in some large mall parking lot. Many of my friends thought my wife and I were crazy moving out of the malls. In hindsight it was a very good decision because we are a destination location and easy parking is more important now than ever before.
