#LeeReadians Believe Natural Diamonds Tell The World Your Love is Real
#LEEREADIAN
What is a LeeReadian?
Every language has words for people that are hopelessly in Love. In French it is l'amour, in Italian, it's Innamorare, in Japanese it's Koi No Yokan.
#LeeReadians speak the language of Love.
The Beatles perfectly described #LeeReadians in their song "Words of Love".
"Hold me close and tell me how you feel, tell me Love is real.
Words of Love you whisper soft and true Darling, I Love you.
Let me hear you say the words I long to hear Darling. I Love You.
Words of Love you whispered soft and true Darling I Love you."

TAYLOR & COOPER

"Cooper and I met in 2014 at a softball tournament at Boise State. I was a spirited 19-year-old, and Cooper was a fun & collected 21-year-old college junior with big aspirations. Through the years, we’ve enjoyed traveling, camping, laughing, and learning together. After graduation, we tackled new obstacles that surpassed those of our college trials... the real world. We faced uncertain variables, but the one constant that we knew for certain was that we loved each other.
On July 18, 2018, Cooper proposed to me in true Cooper fashion — a total surprise. Cooper had acquired the help of a friend to take note of my Pinterest and send him my saved "ring options." He took the ring pictures to Lee Read Jewelers where they helped him choose the perfect ring, and naturally, I loved it! We said "I do" on June 20th, 2019 surrounded by our friends and family who have been our beacons of love and support through the years.
Thank you Lee Read for all of your help in making our future concrete. We appreciate your guidance and assistance as we’ve taken our next steps as a couple. 💖"

MARIAH & CORY

"Cory and I are high school sweethearts. Our senior year, he took me to Table Rock to ask me to senior prom, and then four years later, he took me back up there to ask me to be his wife. The first time he gave me a ring pop, and let’s just say I was very pleased with my upgrade from Lee Read the second time! We married a little after our six year anniversary in Nampa, Idaho on September 28, 2019."

BRIALEE & SPENCER

“I was a senior in high school, and I was in art class. Brialee visited our class, and she was a junior. When I first laid my eyes on her, something above told me “she’s the one.” I knew I was supposed to be with her. Little did I know that she was going to be the key part in helping me become a better man. Five years later, we’ve been married for two years come February 3rd. Thankful for the ring I got at Lee Read that sealed the deal!”
Wishing you a happy early anniversary, from your friends at Lee Read Jewelers! 🥰

COLE & MICHAELA

We can't stop dreaming about this Perfect Proposal!
Congratulations to Cole & Michaela! Here is their winning story for "The Perfect Proposal":
"First off... this is not why I should win... But why Michaela Rae deserves this. My girlfriend and I have been dating for ten years (yes, I know too long). Our Story started in the second grade! When we were young, I use to lie and tell people she was my girlfriend lol.
We then reconnected in high school and have been together ever since! If you ever get to meet Michaela, you will truly meet the most loving, caring, and beautiful woman. Michaela is such a dedicated person and deserves more than I could ever give her. Michaela put herself through college and supported me in obtaining my career as a police officer. And that's where the story really begins and shows how truly amazing she is.
Unfortunately, as a police officers, our families are put on the back burner. She has had many nights alone, many canceled plans, missed holidays, days, and weeks alone. In my career, I have had to experience things that change a person's perspective, emotions, attitude, mental health, and physical health. This woman has been more than supportive. This woman has kept me going and been my rock. She is there for my best and worst days. The days I cry and the days I smile.
She is the definition of selflessness. She is and will always be the reason I am here and keep going. I want to marry this woman, I want to have kids with this woman, and I want to be with this woman for the rest of my life.
I don't deserve to win this ring, but she sure as hell does."
LAUREN & CHRIS

"Chris and I met in San Antonio in 2016 while we were both there for work. We had a long-distance relationship for a bit until he received a promotion that relocated him to Boise. I thought “what the heck!” and came with him. We were engaged on 12/23/17 at Disney World in Orlando. We were at a family dinner at one of the resort restaurants, which had a private rooftop for firework viewing overlooking Cinderella’s castle. Immediately after the show, Chris proposed to me (in front of my family, and at my one of my favorite places). We were married on 12/22/18 in Florida in front of our closest friends and family. It was the perfect day!
Dave and the entire team at Lee Read Jewelers were so helpful! In fact, we like to refer to him as “our” jeweler. I had a good idea of what I wanted the setting and band to look like, and we were able to find the perfect bands from A.JAFFE. Dave worked with us to customize the wedding band so it would perfectly match the setting. We also found a great A.Jaffe band for Chris as well – which is customized with our wedding date engraved. Chris also bought me a necklace (with Dave's help!) for my wedding gift which I wore at the wedding! We are customers for life!"

AIMIE & SEAN

"Sean and I started out as friends in High School and reconnected after 15 years; I was still in California and Sean, Idaho. We were both previously married with kiddos and knew after 4 months of dating that we had been brought to one another. Sean completely surprised me with the proposal, including driving through the night from Idaho to Southern California and then sending me on a scavenger hunt to special spots we had gone to throughout our time dating, ending at a bench overlooking Newport Beach. Now 5 years later, we are more in love, added one more kiddo to our family, and desire to show others a happy and healthy blended family is possible!"

Daniel & Liliya

"I was told we were going to catch some bulls on a four-wheeler because I was told they escaped on the property. So we then ordered all of the food from Chandlers as takeout. He seemed in a hurry to catch the sunset. We hurried home and I was on my toes. I thought the bulls escaped so we hopped on the four-wheeler in our dress clothes. Instead, he took me to a spot by the river. He walked me to a sandy spot, shortly after proposed. I felt on top of the world as I saw the “marry me '' sign 30 ft away. He asked for my full name as he proposed, I obviously said yes and I could not be more excited."
HOLLY & CODY

Cody and I met the first year I moved to Boise. My brother-in-law had many friends who had moved to Boise over the years and he basically told them that they needed to be my friends. About 6 months had gone by when I was invited to a Super Bowl party at my new “friends” house. I was reluctant to go at first but then decided that I should suck it up and just go. That night I met Cody (one of the “friends”) and instantly felt a butterfly or two or three. We spent all night laughing and getting to know each other. He asked me out on our first date about 3 days later, and I suddenly knew that this was different than any past relationship.
We had dated for roughly 1 year, when he decided to take a break and focus on himself. With so many mutual friends, we were constantly seeing and interacting with each other! It was so hard to shake our feelings for one another because we were always together. It took nearly 2 years before Cody was willing to admit that letting me go was a mistake. He asked me to be his girlfriend again during our annual Labor Day camping trip. I was not going to give in that easy; so, I told him that he could take me on dates until I was ready to answer his question. Around 3 months later I finally gave in and told him that I would be his official girlfriend and well, you can guess the rest.
Cody was able to create the ring of my dreams piece by piece, with the help from everyone at Lee Read Jewelers. He proposed to me in front of the main fountain at Julius Kleiner park on April 15th, 2019 while our friends not so secretly recorded the entire thing. We were married August 15th, 2020 in our hometown of Idaho Falls surrounded by our families and friends.

ASHTYN & TYLER

"Tyler and I met in late February 2015. We talked about our interests, including music and photography. We were instantly intrigued by each other, but I had only just turned 18 and was a senior in high school, and he would be turning 24 and had graduated college with his Audio Engineering degree. Throughout the year, we had multiple conversations about our interest in each other, but each time (he) decided the timing wasn't right. Working in the same building, I always got to see him interact with others. He was kind, helpful, smart, good with kids, loves Jesus, but the characteristic that stood out to me the most was respect. He had respect – emotionally, mentally, and physically – for me that I'd never been shown before. I was set on him and willing to wait however long it took for him to be ready.
Finally, in January 2016, he asked me to be his girlfriend. He was my first and only Valentine, and it wasn't long before we were talking rings. He spent months researching color, cut, carat, and clarity. He worked his butt off to buy me my dream ring – and he did! He picked it out all on his own from Lee Read Jewelers (which is where we went and picked out his ring later on).
In August, he proposed to me at our church picnic. I went to go sit with Tyler, and his best friend stopped me to ask if he thought we would ever get married, and I said I hoped so! Tyler then called my name from the stage and it took me a solid minute to realize what was happening. I walked up to the stage in a daze and he pulled me up onto it. He told me he loved me and that he wanted to keep loving me for the rest of his life, then got down on one knee in front of hundreds of people and asked me to marry him. Without a doubt in my mind, I said yes!
Two months later we had the fall wedding of our dreams surrounded by our friends and family. Then we left for our honeymoon in Mexico the next day at 5 am!”

ABBY & RYAN

"It all started back in the summer of 2008 when Ryan and I met at a small junior rodeo. In talking to Ryan at this rodeo, I started to develop an innocent, high school girl crush on this cute boy. Unbeknownst to me, he felt the same way. As life took us in two different directions, we stayed acquainted through mutual friends. Eight years later, I received a social media message from Ryan asking if he could take me on a date. We spent four hours conversing and reconnecting over dinner a few nights later, and the connection was clear! A year later, in front of my family and his, Ryan got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife with my dream ring from Lee Read Jewelers! It was the easiest question I had ever been asked, and my answer was YES! In September of 2018, we had a wildly fun and beautiful, western-styled wedding. Best day of our entire lives! I’m so blessed to be married to my best friend! ♥️"
